Jagran Classifieds is not liable for any inaccurate / misleading information / advertisement. It is the responsibility of end-user to research / verify / accept bonafide' content. Any views expressed by Jagran Classifieds do not necessarily reflect the views   opinions of Jagran Classifieds. The specific Jagran Classifieds is not responsible for the consequences of any actions taken based on the information provided on the website.

The Advertiser states that the contents of the advertisement given by him/her are true and correct and that nothing has been concealed from the newspaper and is in compliance with the laws in India. The Advertiser stands by the content of the said advertisement and indemnifies the Newspaper/ portal / website of any action legal/civil that may follow because of the publication of the said advertisement.

All Ads are accepted in good faith and Jagran Classifieds accepts no responsibility whatsoever regarding the bonafides of the Advertisers, nor can any interviews be granted or correspondence entered into regarding any advertisement published.

All information of whatsoever nature received from the user/advertiser is taken in good faith, without suspecting the bonafides of the advertiser. The contents of the advertisement is believed to be true and correct and in compliance with the laws of India.

For all Jobs & Recruitment advertisement please note following:

1. It is mandatory to mention complete address of the advertiser in the text matter.

2. Also, the nature of job/assignment need to be mentioned in the advertisement ( eg: vacancy for driver/ salesman/ receptionist/ teacher etc)

NOTE: No ads will be accepted or published that has only phone number/ mobile number in the text matter.

Jagran Classifieds provides/extends the service of SMS to its users/advertisers/surfers.

The advertiser indemnifies Jagran Classifieds for any action or claim by any third party resulting from any advertisement instructed by the advertiser or its agency.

SMS sent by customer to customer or by one party to another will not be the responsibility of Jagran Classifieds Verification and acceptance of SMS and its content will be the sole responsibility of the end user/recipient.

Under no circumstances will Jagran Classifieds be liable for any loss to the advertiser for any error or omission. Cancellations and alterations will be accepted only in writing.

Jagran Classifieds is not entitled or held or asked to pay for any ad posting charges in form of reimbursement, charges etc which user incur/paid/pay while using the online facility like paying data transfer charges, use of public internet café etc...

Jagran Classifieds shall reserve the exclusive right to cancel any content whatsoever from being published or reflected on its website or in any other mode. The cancellation charges payable to the User shall be at the applicable rates laid down in the cancellation and refund policy.

Jagran Classifieds Cancellation Policy and Procedures

• This is will be an offline cancellation process where in user needs to send a written communication to customer care team and make a request for ad cancellation.
• For assured cancellation request made should be made within 48 hours from date of booking. Cancellation Charges 15% is applicable to the total amount paid .
• Justified and accepted complaints entitle advertisers to a maximum refund of the amount equivalent to the value of disputed and unpublished ads.
• Jagran Classifieds will not be liable and/or held responsible for missing the date of publishing if in case the amount is deducted from the advertiser's account and yet not approved to us. In this case the transaction will not be considered the successful and advertisement will not be published on the given/provided date. However, if the amount is successful after the required time then he may be allowed to re-schedule or if want to cancel the ad then will attract the 15% of cancelation charges
• Jagran Classifieds will make payment in case of cancellation or refund to the name (name mentioned in the invoice) of the advertiser which he/she had given while submitting the ad for the post. Jagran Classifieds or any of its agency will not be liable in case user has provided the wrong name / detail while applying for the ad post. Therefore, in this case where if the user had provided wrong information then Jagran Classifieds may ask all the sufficient proof to show the authenticity of the user and user is bound to provide all such related details as asked by the Jagran Classifieds in form of hard copy.
• Jagran Classifieds will not be liable in case the amount is deducted from the advertiser's account and yet not approved to us. In this case the transaction will not be considered the successful and advertisement will not be published on the given/provided date.

Duplicate Ad/Payment

• Cancellation charges will NOT apply
• All Refunds are subjected to 2% processing fee deduction.

Jagran Classifieds in its sole discretion shall reserve the right to modify the Terms & Conditions at any time and without prior notice to its users/advertiser, and edit, modify and alter the content of the advertisement. User agrees that the online advertisements placed with Jagran Classifieds shall be reflected within 48 hours. The user further agrees to the stipulated 48 hours processing period for all the advertisements that would be required by Jagran Classifieds. In a situation where user selects multi publication/multi editions, the Publication will reserve the right to reschedule the ad. print dates subject to availability of space & dates with the publication.

Jagran Classifieds reserves the unqualified right to decline, change or reschedule any advertisement/listing notwithstanding earlier acceptance.

Jagran Classifieds does not take responsibility of being directly involved in any transaction including SMS and/or any other services between parties using the site. Jagran Classifieds site is a venue only and do not screen or censor or otherwise control the listings offered to other Users, nor does Jagran Classifieds, screen or censor or otherwise control the Users of its service. Jagran Classifieds does not assume responsibility for the content or context of the user comment areas and will not remove or edit postings to the public comments areas once they are entered into the service, except to expire records or in our sole discretion.

Jagran Classifieds service may be used only for lawful purposes. Transmission, distribution or storage of material or conduct in violation of any applicable local, state, Central or foreign law or regulation is prohibited. This includes without limitation any unauthorized use of material protected by patent, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right, material that is obscene, defamatory or libelous, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates rights of privacy or publicity, or violates export control laws. The user may use the information on our site only to the extent necessary to facilitate Jagran Classifieds related transactions.

Jagran Classifieds prohibits the following illegal activities:

1. Transmission (through SMS/text/advertisement or any other content), distribution or posting of unwanted or offensive content, prohibited transmissions include without limitation, profane or sexually explicit advertisements that include masking or misspelling the words, or images that would be illegal in any Law in force.
2. You agree that You shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update or share any information on the Site, that —
   • (a) Belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right to use in any form.
   • (b) Is grossly harmful, harassing, blasphemous defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever
   • (c) Harm minors in any way
   • (d) Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights
   • (e) Violates any law for the time being in force
   • (f) Deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such messages or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature
   • (g) Impersonate another person
   • (h) Contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource
   • (i) Threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting any other nation
3. Any content and/or comment/information uploaded by User/You on the Site which is non-compliant with The Information Technology Act, 2000, rules and regulations, guidelines made there under, user agreement and privacy policy, as amended/re-enacted from time to time, for access or usage of Company's Services/Site/computer resource, the Company has the right to immediately terminate the access or usage rights of the user to the said Services and Site and remove/disable all information including the non-compliant information. Further more, the Company shall have the right to take recourse to such remedies as would be available to the Company under the applicable laws.

Jagran Classifieds prohibits the listing/sale/SMS of the following goods/services for any reason, including but not limited to any item that is illegal to sell under any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation including the following: any controlled substance, dangerous, counterfeit or stolen goods, goods which do not actually exist, any good that infringes or violates anyone's rights, any item which in Jagran Classifieds sole discretion is inflammatory, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with Jagran Classifieds standards of business ethics, any messages, data, or images that might be considered by a reasonable person to be obscene or which contain racial, ethnic, religious slurs or derogatory epithets, or advocating violence, hate or other language that is deeply or widely offensive.

Jagran Classifieds strongly opposes SPAM, which floods the Internet with unwanted and unsolicited email/SMS and deteriorates the performance and availability of the Jagran Classifieds service. All forms of SPAM, and all activities that have the effect of facilitating SPAM, are strictly prohibited.

If Jagran Classifieds, in its sole discretion, determines that a violation of the Terms & Conditions has occurred, Jagran Classifieds may pursue any of its legal remedies, including but not limited to the immediate deletion of any offending material from its site, cancellation of the user's account and/or the exclusion of any person(s) who may have violated any Terms & Conditions. Jagran Classifieds will cooperate with any investigation conducted by any Central, State, or local body or any court or tribunal legitimately exercising its rights. Such cooperation may be without notice to the user. If Jagran Classifieds believes in its sole discretion that any ad that may create liability for Jagran Classifieds, Jagran Classifieds may take any actions that it believes are prudent or necessary to minimize or eliminate its potential liability, including but not limited to, the release of User information. In sum, Jagran Classifieds reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time, and to remove any listings or any advertisements for any reason, and without notice.

User understands and agrees that the User is responsible for all applicable taxes and for all costs that are incurred in using the Jagran Classifieds service. We may also, in our sole discretion, add or delete fees associated with the Service.

User agrees that use of the service is at user's sole risk. The service is provided on an "as is" and on an "as available" basis. Jagran Classifieds expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Jagran Classifieds makes no warranty that the service will meet user's requirements, that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; nor does Jagran Classifieds make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the service or as to the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained from the service.

The user gives Jagran Classifieds exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicense able (through multiple tiers) right to exercise all copyright and publicity rights, in any existing or future media, known or unknown, over the material or User Data displayed in the user listings. For the purpose of this Agreement, "User Data" shall mean all information (if any) submitted by the surfer, (the "User") to Jagran Classifieds with the exception of trading data, credit card numbers, checking account numbers, etc. "Individually Identifiable User Data" shall mean that subset of "User Data" which can be reasonably used to identify a specific individual such as their name, address, phone number, etc. The User Data shall be deemed to be the property of Jagran Classifieds. The user shall take all reasonable efforts to ensure that it is accurate and complete and not misleading in any way.

Notice: Any notice to the advertiser/user or to us shall be made by either email or regular mail. We may also give notice of changes to these Terms & Conditions or other matters related to Jagran Classifieds by displaying notices to Users on the Service.

This Agreement is the complete and exclusive agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof, superseding any prior agreements and or communications regarding such subject matter. This Agreement may only be modified, or any rights under it waived, by a written document executed by both parties.

These Terms & Conditions and the relationship between User and Jagran Classifieds shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delhi, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. User and Jagran Classifieds agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the State of Delhi.

User agrees that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service must be filed within 15 days after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.

On and after 1st July 2017 Goods and Service Tax of 5% will be applicable to all ads booked

Jagran Classifieds is accepting the advertisements only on behalf of the publications featured on the site. It is in no way responsible for any delay by the publications to discharge any of their obligations towards the users.

Jagran Classifieds shall reserve the sole discretion and irrevocable right to offer / not offer schemes / services/products/new features/discounts / promotional packages on its web site exclusive to any existing or future media, known or unknown mode and vice versa.
* Only one discount offer can be availed at a time.

Jagran Classifieds shall reserve the exclusive right to cancel any content whatsoever from being published or reflected on its website or in any other mode. The cancellation charges payable to the advertiser shall be at the applicable rates laid down in the cancellation and refund policy.

No particular page/position shall be guaranteed by the publication/ website / portal to its clients for any advertisement.

The Management shall not be bound by notices to stop orders, cancellations, preponements/postponements or alterations/deletions/additions in the material(s) of advertisement(s) booked for publication.

• Coupons are valid till 15th April 2015.
• May not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
• Coupons are not for resale and are not redeemable for cash.
• Coupon code is used to avail 5% off on total cost (including premium cost, extra no of lines, multiple dates ).
• Coupon may be used on multiple times to avail discount .
• Jagran Classifieds reserves the right to discontinue a coupon at any time.

For all Ads booked for partner publications by the Advertiser, the partner publication will take the sole responsibility of publishing the advertisement and its contents. In the eventuality of any deficiency of service the partner publication shall bear the sole responsibility for the same. Jagran Classifieds shall NOT be held responsible for it.

Each & every term & condition mentioned herein forming the general terms and conditions shall be automatically applicable and shall govern the terms and conditions for every advertisement published and ignorance of these terms and conditions shall be no defense and cannot be a ground for non-applicability of these general terms and conditions.

We are not bound by any conditions which conflict with those stated in our terms & conditions.

The terms and conditions appearing here above consists of the entire agreement between the Party/User (as defined above ) and the Company (as defined above ) and replaces all previous arrangements/schedules between the parties regarding the subject matter contained hereinabove. By completing the registration process and/or checking the I have read and accept the Terms of Use box, you are indicating your acceptance to the agreement and to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of the Company as appearing hereinabove.

The Advertisement preview shown to a user is an indicative preview of the ad text only and it may at times differ from the actual published advertisement. This may come about as a result of technology and/or due to the effect of 'Pagination of Advertisement' by the concerned department of the particular newspaper in which such advertisement is published. Such change is beyond the control of Jagran Classifieds and as such Jagran Classifieds is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any such change brought about by such subsequent formatting and displaying of the Advertisement at the time of such publication and no dispute in this regard will be entertained either in the form of refund or for free insertions or in any manner whatsoever from the User.

Advertisements are accepted in good faith but Jagran Classifieds does not accept responsibility for their veracity, delay, error, omission in publication, shrinkage in production, compliance with all relevant laws, etc. etc.

The responsibility for such advertising/other material submitted to Jagran Classifieds by advertisers / third parties for advertisement in any publications is accepted subject to the condition that the same complies with all applicable international and national laws. Such compliance rests exclusively on such advertisers and Jagran Classifieds will not be responsible for any claim, error, omission, inaccuracy or failure to comply with such prevalent laws, rules and regulations, arising out of such advertising material. Jagran Classifieds reserves the right to omit, suspend or change the position of any advertising material submitted for insertion. Acceptance of advertisements on third party publication will be subject to acceptance of Jagran Classifieds terms and conditions.

The advertiser and/or publisher indemnifies Jagran Classifieds from any action or claim brought by any third party arising directly or indirectly from publication or non publication of an advertisement including but not limited to infringement of any law/statutory requirement etc.

Advertisers are advised to release advertisement strictly in adherence to the following ;

i. Jagran Classifieds code of conduct
ii. Conformity to International, central & state laws, rules and regulations.

Redress Mechanism: Any complaints, abuse or concerns with regards to content and or comment or breach of these terms shall be immediately informed to the designated Grievance Team as mentioned below via in writing or through email signed with the electronic signature Email id- support@jagranclassifieds.com

: We book ads online, thus do not send physical copies to our customers. In this case, you need to contact your local vendor / family member or friends to collect the hard copy for the concerned date.

Jagran will not be responsible for any loss suffered by client. For assured cancellation request should be made within 48 hours from date of booking. Cancellation Charges 15% is applicable to the total amount paid.

The ad preview is representative of how your ad will look when published in Dainik Jagran. However, published ad may differ slightly as the content is at times shrunk or enlarged just to fit in the printable area of the currently selected paper size.

The number of lines calculated in online Ads and may vary in print depending upon the placement of ad text and alignment carried out in print. However, customers agree to this and promise to for the lines calculated while booking online, irrespective of the difference in lines.
